What is a YAB?

The Youth Action Board (YAB) will be composed of a group of exceptional Youth Volunteers 18 to 24 that will meet on a regular basis to offer guidance, and plan and approve projects that combat youth homelessness. YAB aspires to be agents of change using lived experiences of homelessness as a tool to bridge the gaps between homelessness and quality of care for all youth 16-24 years living in either Escambia or Santa Rosa County.

Benefits of the YAB

Join a community that cares about you!

Each YAB member will improve their personal, professional, and emotional skillsets.
We are eager to support these youth in creating a Youth Action Board. Meetings are open to the public who have an interest; any age may attend.
