A night to remember those we lost. This Thursday, November 16 Waterfront Mission alongside Opening Doors, will host a Candlelight Vigil in honor of homeless men and women who have passed away this year.
These individuals and thousands of other homeless in our country this year have passed away from various causes, whether it be from a natural cause, serious illness, malnutrition, substance abuse, violent acts, or an unknown cause. This night will allow our community the opportunity to recognize their lives and pay our respects. Although we may not know them, their lives matter and inspire us to continue to seek ways to better reach those on the streets.
This event is open to the community and sponsored by Waterfront Mission and Opening Doors.
