Are you interested in volunteering? Join the upcoming Remote Area Medical Clinic (RAM) as a volunteer! It will be held at Milton High School December 2nd and 3rd, 2023. The clinic will offer free medical, dental and vision services to anyone in need.

These services will include dental cleanings, fillings, extractions, eye exams, eye glasses made on site, medical exams, and women’s exam.

The clinic is first come, first served. There’s a great need in different communities for a clinic like this. And there are still some volunteer areas that are needed to be filled to make this clinic a success! Hence, volunteers are needed for the following roles:

• general volunteers
• interpreters
• dental assistants
• dental hygienists
• dentists
• optometrists

All Remote Area Medical Clinic volunteers are asked to register ASAP at www.ramusa.org. The more volunteers that register for the clinic, the more patients served.

10 elite volunteers are also needed to help coordinate the parking lot. This team of volunteers will need to open the parking lot up at midnight and direct patients where to park in a systematic order (training is provided by RAM staff ahead of time). This is a critical component as it sets the tone for a smooth clinic. The patients will stay in their cars until the clinic opens at 6am. The Milton Police Department will have an officer on duty at the high school for security. The parking lot team will start on Friday December 1st 5:30pm-6:30am and then again on December 2nd 6:00pm -6:30am.
