The flyer for the NAMI Pensacola & NAMI Florida presents “Sharing Hope…The Conversation Continues” scheduled for Saturday, October 28, 2023 is now available. The event will also go live from 11:00am-1:00pm EST via Zoom.  This is a safe space to discuss the cultural and unique challenges facing those of Black/African Ancestry dealing with Mental Health challenges.

This virtual event will be hosted by Dr. Twanna House, NAMI FaithNet Program Director, NAMI Pensacola along with special guest, Monique Darnell, LPC, LMHC and CEO, MRD&CA Solutions of Pensacola, Florida. NAMI Pensacola & NAMI Florida are among the first NAMI affiliates and State Chapters in the nation to launch this new conversational format of the Sharing Hope educational program that NAMI National recently launched a few months ago. This will be a virtual statewide event as well. There will be other NAMI representatives from across the nation to join the event.
