A free mental health symposium is scheduled to be held at The University of West Florida later this month.
The Susie A. Longmire-Stromas 2022 Mental Health Symposium will be held on June 25 from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in the UWF Conference Center. Doors open at 5 p.m.
The free event is being put together by Psychological Health Is Wealth founder Dr. Jeremy M. Stromas and his brother Assistant State Attorney Frederick V. Longmire.
Dr. Stromas will host the event. Longmire, Roddric Johnson, Dr. Michael Carlton, and Dr. Jaedyn Bonner are featured as speaker for the symposium.
The goal of the event is to increase awareness and knowledge of mental health; to understand fears, stigmas, and barriers to care; to network; and to make connections.
Dinner will be sponsored by Carrabba’s Italian Grill and music will be provided by DJ NIKKO.
