About Your Instructor: Kelli Thomas
For over 20 years, Kelli Thomas has worked to help the homeless in our community by being a voice and resource for those who are often unable to advocate for themselves. As Director of Operations with Loaves and Fishes for 17 years, Kelli was responsible for writing, acquiring, and managing state, federal, and private grants, coming into the local area to help the homeless and those in need. She served as Chair of the Continuum of Care Committee for 15 years and is currently serving as the Chair of the Grant Selection Committee through Opening Doors NWFL. Kelli has also attended numerous professional training courses on how to acquire funds and overall grant management. Her desire is to use this knowledge to help small, and grassroots level nonprofit organizations learn the needed skills to write, receive, and manage grants successfully.
