The Blue Wahoos are hosting CivicCon Night at the game on Saturday, August 13.
The 2021 CivicCon Award winners will be honored on the field just prior to the game and then recognized from their seats during the game. Dr. John List, the CivicCon speaker on Sunday night, August 14, will be at the stadium. Attendees will have a chance to win a copy of his new bestselling book, The Voltage Effect.
Also, between innings the attendees will see scoreboard messages about CivicCon, including a new CivicCon video that was produced by CivicCon Communications Director Eduardo Lara.

Renowned Economist Shares Thoughts About Economy
World renowned economist Dr. John List will present at CivicCon on Sunday, August 14. He will discuss how to prepare for uncertain economic times.
The event is scheduled from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at The Rex Theatre. Doors open to the public for the free event at 5:30 p.m.

He has been labeled the world’s top economist among the 40,000 economists to graduate in the past 20 years.
Dr. List is the author of The Voltage Effect: How to Make Good Ideas Great and Great Ideas Scale, which since it was published in February 2022 has made the best seller lists of the Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, USA Today, the Washington Post and the LA Times.
The book is being celebrated for its insights on how to scale ideas successfully in business but also other areas in society.
Dr. List is the Kenneth C. Griffin Distinguished Service Professor in Economics at the University of Chicago. He also has served as chair of economics at the university.
Dr. List earlier in his career published a popular science book, The Why Axis, co-authored with Uri Gneezy, which was an international best seller.
