Shane Phillips is the author of The Affordable City and will talk about gentrification and other buzz words connected to the affordable housing discussion.
He serves as the housing initiative project manager for the Lewis Center for Regional Policy Studies at UCLA and speaks around the country on the topic of workplace housing. He was a biochemistry major at the University of Washington and received his master’s degree in urban planning public administration from University of Southern California. He has been a consultant on transportation, development and sustainability projects.
